I graduated in Dental Hygiene from Vancouver Vocational Institute in 1987. I worked in Vancouver for 16 years in General Practice until 2000, when I accepted a job in the Okanagan at Summerland Dental.

Through most of my career in Vancouver, I paddled competitively in dragon boat, outrigger, and marathon canoe. When I moved to Summerland, I bought my first home, which I am still in today, and now share with my partner Harold and my 2 cats, Oscar and Tango. Harold and I like to ski, mountain bike, and ride our motorcycles. I continue to be active in racing sailboats, hiking, and snowshoeing. I love gardening and reading to relax.
