Kristie graduated from the Registered Dental assistant, Level 2 program at SAIT in 2004. She chose to become a dental assistant because it offers the opportunity to continually learn and grow, as the dental profession is always advancing.
Dental assisting is exciting because it has a wide variety of duties and responsibilities. A patient care, patient education, and patient comfort are always at the forefront. It is very rewarding for her to know that she can help patients improve their oral health and their self-confidence. A smile is a beautiful thing!
When she is not at work, Kristie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Camping, hiking, bike riding, and beach days in the Okanagan are always on the agenda.
